We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with a positive and proactive mindset to join the Norwegian branch of a Korean-based international company. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys varied tasks, is eager to learn, and is comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

1. Position : Administrative Assistant

• Employment type: Permanent (full-time)

• Location: Central Oslo but relocation will be held (Lysaker, Skøyen, or Nydalen, planned for 2026)

• Planned start date: February 2026

2. Qualifications

• Language: Proficiency in English (required), Proficiency in Norwegian and/or Korean is an advantage

• Experience in tax, accounting, or administrative support

• Strong communication skills (coordination with HQ in Seoul, accounting firm, tax authorities, and other administrative bodies in Norway)

• Ability to work independently and manage diverse tasks

4. Job Duties

Task 1. Tax and Accounting Coordination (Main Responsibility)

• Act as the primary communication point between the company and the external accounting firm (in English), Manage issues in coordination with Skatteetaten (English/Norwegian)

• Main focus on monthly VAT reporting, A-melding coordination

• Support bookkeeping tasks, including expense planning/closing

• Handle D-number and HSE card applications

Task 2. General Assistance

• Support office relocation, facility setup, utilities, and general maintenance arrangements

• Provide administrative support to the General Manager, employees, and visiting staff

• Support social marketing for the company's LinkedIn page

• Assist with sales and project-related communication and documentation (opportunity to grow into sales or project management roles)

Hyosung has long supplied power transformers to substations across Norway, and in 2025, the company established its Norway branch in Oslo.

As the branch is still in an early stage of development, the office is undergoing several foundational processes. We are therefore looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily operations, accounting coordination, and overall office management.
